Conceived by local celebrity chef Tamara Murphy (Terra Plata), this is one of Seattle’s premier food events, showcasing an astounding variety of local flavors.  An Incredible Feast takes place at Swansons Nursery, a beautiful setting of enormous greenhouses, high ceilings and lush greenery.  Guests will sample over 20 unique gourmet dishes featuring fresh ingredients from regional farmers and fishers, enjoy excellent local, Salmon-Safe-certified wines and brews, and meet the chefs and farmers behind the food.  The event also features country-fair-style games with fabulous prizes, and a silent auction with EXCLUSIVE opportunities to experience local farms and gourmet food.

The main event & food Pavilion opens at 7pm, but guests are welcome to arrive as early as 6pm and enjoy drinks, appetizers, a silent auction preview, and fun games in the North Greenhouse.

Proceeds from this event directly support the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance’s low-income access programs, free community events, food education, and advocacy for local family farms.  To learn more about the work the NFMA does on behalf of local farms and farmers markets, click hereAn Incredible Feast also provides essential funding for the NFMA’s disaster relief program, the “Good Farmer Fund,” which helps farmers affected by extreme storms and other emergency situations.  The Good Farmer Fund adds an important element to the circle of support and giving that happens between market shoppers, market farmers and the rural and urban communities we inhabit and depend upon.
